Capital Notions – accepted
New story acceptance today.

My 4,600-word ‘Capital Notions,’ has been accepted for the Winter 2021 edition of Midnight Manuscripts Quarterly. It’s one of those pieces that is a tad hard to categorise. It started life as ‘Margaret on the Guillotine,’ a reference to the Morrissey song of the same name, and wound up a sort of strange and loose fantasy horror – surprisingly lacking in gore, considering the subject matter. As befits its original inspiration, there is still the odd Thatcher reference in it too.
Aw yis, always great to see fellow writers’ acceptances. It’s always inspiring, so thanks for sharing!
